Adam Thrash, the son of Charles and Sandra Thrash of Forest, has been named a finalist in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Adam qualified for the program by scoring in the top 98% in the nation on the PSAT/NMSQT test his junior year. He advanced to finalist standing because of his SAT composite score and his essay evaluation.
Adam enjoys building web pages, editing photos, and learning programming languages in his spare time. He plans to attend Mississippi State University after high school, where he intends to major in software engineering.
Other interests include drawing, reading, writing, playing the guitar, and spending time with his friends and family.
