Cheerleading is a very important part of student life at Leake Academy;  cheerleaders help to foster and maintain school spirit and call attention to the great things happening here at LA.  Cheerleading is more than just an activity; it is a sport that is taken very seriously.  Cheerleaders work extremely hard to maintain that sharp edge that sets them apart from other squads.  Cheering is very time consuming:  not only do they travel with each team, but they also maintain a rigorous work schedule, practicing both at school and at a cheering gym. We definitely appreciate their commitment to excellence.
